Frequently Asked Questions
Does my donation actually reach Gaza?+
Yes. The initiative is run by a person actually present inside the Gaza Strip who executes campaigns himself on the ground. Every donation we receive is documented with receipts and photos in the public transparency log, from the moment it's received to the moment it's distributed.
Why do you rely on crypto (USDT)?+
Because it's the fastest, cheapest way to get money into Gaza today. Traditional bank transfers are nearly shut down, and gateways like PayPal don't operate in Palestine, while a USDT transfer arrives in minutes for under a dollar in fees. Transparency is also higher: any donor can verify our wallet directly on the blockchain.
Are you a licensed charity?+
No — FundGaza is a personal humanitarian initiative, not a formally licensed charity. We'd rather be honest about this than claim otherwise. Our only commitment to earning your trust is full documentation and complete transparency for every transaction.
What's the difference between networks when sending USDT?+
USDT is sent over different networks (TRC20, BEP20, etc). You must select exactly the same network written next to our wallet address — sending on a different network means the funds are permanently lost with no way to recover them. See our crypto donation page for full details.
How do I know which campaign I'm donating to right now?+
Browse the campaigns page; every active campaign shows its financial goal, the amount raised so far, and the number of beneficiaries. Campaigns marked 'Urgent' are the current priority.
Why start with small campaigns instead of big ones (wells, bakery, school)?+
Because trust is built gradually. We start with small, fully documented campaigns (water relief, food baskets), and as the transparency log fills with documented achievements, we move to larger projects like digging wells, building the bakery, and the school.
